The MPPA has a nine-member executive board. Each year three terms expires and new individuals are elected at the annual meeting. The MPPA Executive Board members represent the MPPA in a number of capacities and at various functions.
Among their duties are lobbying at the local, state, and federal levels, working with government agencies on issues important to MPPA membership, listening to the ideas and opinions of membership and then working to incorporate those suggestions into MPPA activities, representing membership views at the National Pork Producers Council Annual Meeting, and overseeing activities at the association’s Mankato office.
